" Goddess Annyse” Annyse Rayne began dancing as a child, her very first performance was to “Celebration” by Cool and The Gang! Throughout her teens and as a young adult, she continued to express herself through jazz dancing and cheerleading; performing at events such as; the Festival Des Beaux Arts, the United Spirit Association’s dance festival to name a few. When Annyse was exposed to Middle Eastern Dance, she was absolutely mesmerized by the rhythm and style of this tradition. The swinging hips and undulating patterns were beautiful beyond measure. Without hesitation, Annyse enrolled in classes and noticed an increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. From this point on she studied and practiced more intensively under the guidance of local and world-renowned teachers. Today Annyse holds Women's parties, Belly Dance classes & entertains professionally throughout White Rock, Surrey, Langley, Cloverdale, Burnaby & the lower mainland of B.C. as well as Blaine, Ferndale, Bellingham & other areas of Whatcom County. Her vision is to celebrate the feminine spirit through this ritualistic dance. Annyse looks forward to dancing and celebrating with you in the near future!! |
